The Pan TIlt Zoom (PTZ) Network Camera provides the ability to view and control pan, tilt and zoom via web browser.
As a plug and play solution, cat5 wiring is all that's needed for both power and communication to the camera, thus saving time and materials. We can also ship the PTZ camera pre- configured.
 PTZ cameras were developed to address problems with traditional mechanical pan/tilt/zoom devices. Mechanical devices let users redirect the camera but only record what you are zoomed in on. This can be a problem
when there is more than one subject in the scene or if nobody is controlling the camera. PTZ allows you to "virtually move around a large image" using a smaller viewing window. Since it is virtual, you can still record the entire scene in Multi-Megapixel "HD Quality" resolution even though you may be digitally "zoomed in". You will never miss a thing.
PTZ also saves bandwidth. In many cases you don't need to view a Multi-Megapixel "HD Quality" image when you are accessing video over a WAN or the internet. PTZ enables you to preview a much smaller window of the entire field of view. If you see something that interests you, simply zoom digitally and the Multi-Megapixel "HD Quality" resolution kicks in. As you zoom in, PTZ introduces more detail without the distortion typical with other products.
